Product Description

This product is white to yellowish powder, with poor fluidity, odorless, easily soluble in water, and insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and propanol.

Because glucosamine is the precursor of glycosaminoglycan (mucopolysaccharide), which is the main component of articular cartilage, glucosamine is often used for adjuvant treatment of osteoarthritis. Glucosamine supplementation may help to rebuild cartilage and treat arthritis, but at present, the medical community has no conclusive conclusion on its efficacy.
